Pilates is the movement practice designed by Joseph Pilates at the turn of the century, originally created to help rehabilitate bed-ridden veterans. This is why the Reformer resembles a bed in so many ways! Since then, it's been re-examined many times and is now used for many aspects of fitness and rehabilitation.

Jennifer began to study Pilates after sustaining a life-changing back injury in 1996. Since then, she earned her certification from the Integrated Teacher Training Program in 2002 and has also continued her education in restorative methods, Aston Patterning and ergonomics.
